THE ROLE
The Creative VM role is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and fast paced visual merchandising team. You will be responsible for supporting the Senior VM Manager in the strategic planning and creative application of all product launches in physical retail stores. You will be hands-on in the creation of our monthly VM and mannequin directives for both standalone stores and concessions globally. Collaborating with our Buying and Merchandising teams you will manage the creation of our VM directives from end to end.
Whilst working in a small team you will develop informative, commercially viable and timely guidelines for retail teams to execute.
WHAT WILL I BE DOING?
- Creating our monthly VM guidelines, having received the product strategy from our Buying and Merchandising team you will create our floor set guidelines that store teams implement globally
- Manage the VM Calendar to deliver timely direction for retail teams that aligns to our brand trading calendar
- Delivering creative and commercial VM solutions to an evolving brief. You will be working strategically to deliver impactful launches yet being flexible and responsive to business strategy updates.Store visits and early morning starts are a part of this role as you will support the roll out of monthly directives in stores
- Supporting the Senior VM Manager in evolving the visual merchandising disciplines for the brand and aligning to our key product pillars
- Researching trends in visual merchandising and store experience and bringing new ideas to AllSaints
- Ensuring the brand visual disciplines and standards are communicated effectively through focused, thorough and concise documentation
WHAT SKILLS DO I NEED?
- A creative and inspiring visual merchandiser with field or area VM experience
- A strong stylist with an understanding of global fashion trends and styling
- Experienced in delivering a demanding creative and commercial brief to deadline
- Works at pace and thrives on a challenge
- Strong analytical skills and commercial understanding of how to drive sales through effective visual merchandising
- A strategic thinker who plans for the future yet has the ability to be responsive and flexible
- Proactive and able to think creatively when problem solving
- Communicates with others clearly, effectively and with respect
- A natural ability to motivate, coach and develop others
- Strives to achieve and drive the best results possible for the brand
- Excellent time management and organisational skills whilst able to prioritise workload accordingly
- Demonstrates the brand values and promotes them within our stores
- Excellent team player who is collaborative in their approach
- Reliable and acts in a timely manner
- Has a professional manner and diplomacy
- A good level of Adobe Photoshop skills are required in this role and basic photography
ABOUT THE LOCATION
