Loading Bay Officer

Allied Universal is currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Loading Bay Officer, working at a prestigious 5* residential site in London!


Contract Information:


Hours per week - 42
Shift pattern - 4 on, 4 off. Flexibility required Monday to Sunday, day and night shifts.
Pay Rate - £15 per hour
Location - London
SIA Required - Door Supervisor
Experience Required - Over 1 year in a Banksperson, Traffic Marshall or Loading Bay position.

Your Time at Work
As a Loading Bay Officer your duties include:


- Access control of vehicles and personnel in the Loading Bay.
- Safely operate vehicle blockers and gates.
- Carry out Banksperson duties in the Loading Bay, assisting with the parking of vehicles.
- Ensure pedestrian areas of the Loading Bay are clear and free of obstacles.
- Carry out regular patrols and inform the Logistics Manager about any H&S breaches/concerns.
- Ensure all contractors are wearing security lanyards when accessing the Loading Bay.
- Work in tandem with the Security Officer at the Vehicle Entrance to control the flow of vehicles in the Loading Bay.
- Communicate effectively with drivers, contractors and all users of the Loading Bay in a friendly and courteous manner.
- Adhere to all H&S regulations.
- Undertake additional duties in line with management requests as required.
