Delivery Driver - Park Royal (Harrow)

At Ocado Logistics, our Delivery Drivers, or as we call them, Customer Service Team Members, do far more than simply deliver groceries. You'll combine safe, professional driving with genuine customer care. Every delivery is an opportunity to make somebody's day a little easier and a little better.

You'll work independently on the road, with pre-loads your van, allowing you to focus on what matters most: delivering great service safely, efficiently and with a positive attitude. Rain or shine, you'll be out and about making a difference to our customers, one delivery at a time. And yes, you'll still get to choose the music!

Everyone likes their groceries at different times, so our working patterns will involve evenings and weekends in addition to weekdays - so on top of your base pay you will receive premiums that will increase your average hourly earnings to £14.60 per hour. All your breaks are paid, meaning for every minute at work you get paid. That’s a great deal!

So what do we need from you?

You don’t need any previous experience to join our good-natured team, just bring yourself and a positive attitude, and our amazing training team will do the rest!

Requirements:

• Full UK or EU driving licence.
• Minimum of 12 months driving experience
• Maximum of 6 penalty points.
• No driving disqualifications in the past 5 years.
• Some deliveries involve the handling of alcohol products, so you must be over 18 to apply.
• As this is a customer facing role, good communication skills are also essential.

• Once all checks are completed, you will be offered the role and your career with Ocado Logistics will start!

Contract Type:  Permanent

Contract:  Your contracted workweek is 40 hours over a seven day period working both AM and PM shifts. You may start as early as 05:30 in the morning, and can finish as late as 12:00 (midnight). Please check your commute time prior to applying. 

Pay Structure:  This position is lunar paid. This means you will be paid every 4 weeks according to a monthly schedule. Please take this into consideration when applying. 

Hourly Pay Rates:

Monday to Saturday (Basic Rate): £13.96

Evening Premium (from 6pm): £1.12

Sunday Day Premium: £1.40

Sunday Evening Premium: £2.63

Overtime rate Monday to Saturday (Day Shift): £17.45

Overtime rate Monday to Saturday (Evening Shift): £18.57
