Director of Product Design
Europe, Remote
€120k–€140k + year-end performance bonus We’re hiring a Director of Product Design for an established international B2C ecommerce company. You’ll lead a small design team, set the product design vision and raise the quality of the customer experience across mobile and web. Around 80% of the role is focused on leadership, strategy and developing the team, while remaining close enough to the work and hands-on to support important product decisions. What you’ll do
- Set the product design and customer experience strategy
- Coach and develop the design team
- Introduce advanced AI workflows across prototyping, motion and production
- Strengthen customer research, usability testing and experimentation
- Connect design decisions to conversion, retention and revenue
- Develop the design system across mobile and web
- Partner with product and senior leadership
- 10+ years in product design, including 4+ years managing designers
- Strong B2C experience across mobile and responsive web
- Evidence of improving measurable customer or commercial outcomes
- Advanced use of AI in a current or recent design role
- Strong research, experimentation and design systems experience
- A portfolio showing work delivered by your teams and its impact
