We’re also the number one owner and operator of e-buses in Australia and New Zealand, and are quickly expanding into light commercial vehicles and trucks. THE OPPORTUNITY

Following Zenobē’s rapid growth story, an exciting opportunity has arisen in our Finance team. With global expansion and rapid growth, Zenobē is looking to make its first dedicated FP&A modelling role.

Reporting to the Head of FP&A, the FP&A Modeller will be instrumental in building and evolving the financial modelling capability that underpins strategic decision-making, capital allocation, and performance management across the business.

A TASTE OF THE DAY TO DAY

Financial Modelling & Strategic Planning

  • Design, build, and maintain sophisticated financial models to support forecasting, scenario analysis, and strategic initiatives such as acquisitions, investment appraisal, and capital planning.
  • Provide analytical support to inform long-term financial strategy and capital allocation decisions.
  • Lead the annual budgeting process and manage rolling forecasts, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market dynamics.

Performance Analysis & Business Partnering

  • Analyse financial results and KPIs to uncover trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Deliver actionable insights that challenge and support business performance.
  • Partner with teams across the business to understand their drivers and provide financial modelling and analysis to support operational and strategic decisions.
  • Prepare and present executive-level reporting packs for leadership and investors.
  • Act as a strategic thought partner, evaluating business cases and investment proposals.

Process & Tool Enhancement

  • Continuously improve FP&A modelling tools, systems, and processes to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
  • Support the adoption of automation and predictive analytics.
  • Champion the use of AI and emerging technologies to elevate the finance function.

  • Proven expertise in building and maintaining complex financial models.
  • Advanced Excel skills for modelling, analysis, and reporting.
  • Experience with data visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau preferred.
  • Strong ability to interpret complex financial data, identify trends, and make sound financial recommendations.
  • Ability to clearly and concisely communicate complex financial information to both financial and non-financial audiences.
  • The capacity to understand the business context and contribute to long-term strategic financial planning.
  • A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is typically required.
  • 5+ years of experience in FP&A or a commercially analytical role, with a focus on modelling.
  • Project management skills and resilience to manage projects to completion
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence decision-making.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
