Surgical Services Manager

As the Surgical Services Manager, you will:
- Provide leadership and management across theatres, endoscopy, and recovery.
- Oversee equipment management, processes, and staff training in the Minor Procedures Suite.
- Ensure continuous quality of care improvements and professional nursing standards.
- Develop and evaluate policies and procedures for patient safety and quality.
- Manage quality standards, complaints, and critical incidents.
- Identify and achieve personal training objectives in line with development plans.
- Ensure value for money and clinical effectiveness in purchasing.
- Oversee equipment trials and participate in the tendering process.
- Collaborate with the Patient Safety and Quality Improvement Team to enhance medical device management.

The ideal Surgical Services Manager will have:
- A degree-level education with RN (General) Level 1 or Qualified Operating Department Practitioner status.
- Relevant post-basic qualifications and experience, such as in cardiac or orthopaedics.
- Proven project management involvement and quality improvement experience.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Leadership and management abilities, with a flexible and adaptable approach.
- Awareness of nursing and national developments.
