Role: Computer Science Teacher
The Opportunity
A well-regarded independent school in Haringey is looking for a creative and knowledgeable Computer Science Teacher to join its team in January 2027.
This is an excellent opportunity to help students develop their digital skills, computational thinking and understanding of the technology shaping the modern world.
The Role
You’ll teach Computer Science across the relevant secondary key stages, combining theoretical knowledge with practical learning.
Responsibilities include:
Teaching programming, algorithms and computer systems.
Planning engaging lessons with practical coding activities.
Developing students’ computational thinking and problem-solving skills.
Preparing students for relevant assessments and examinations.
Assessing work and tracking student progress.
Encouraging responsible and effective use of technology.
About You
You’ll be a qualified Computer Science Teacher with strong programming knowledge and the ability to make technical concepts accessible. You’ll be enthusiastic about technology and committed to helping students build confidence and independence.
