Challenging behaviour 1-2-1 TA
One of our partner primary schools in Hackney are looking for a behavioural support teaching assistant to work on a 1-2-1 basis with a pupil with challenging behaviour in Year 2.
As a behavioural support TA, you will provide support, advice and help the pupil with their learning in the classroom.
About the role
This is a full time role working Monday-Friday from September 2025.
This role will be working with a pupil with challenging behaviour in KS1 and therefore you should hold experience working on a 1-2-1 basis with pupils in a classroom.
To be successful in this role you will be patient, be able to work on your own initiative, and can control and de-escalate situations if this was to arise.

The school is a two form entry mainstream primary school in Hackney which prides itself on high standards and expects all staff members to the same values.
You will receive support from class teachers, support staff and senior leadership team.
Requirements
To be considered for the role of Challenging behaviour 1-2-1 TA you will:
- Have experience working on a 1-2-1 basis with pupils
- Have experience working in a school
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Experience working 1-2-1 with pupils in a classroom
