About the role

Grey Court is a thriving and successful secondary school which is growing in size due to the addition of our 6th form in 2014. Our Social Science department includes Sociology, Criminology, Psychology, Economics at KS5 and Health and Social Care BTEC at KS4 and KS5. Results at A level exceed national averages at all grades, and we have high aspirations for all our students, with a significant number of our alumni having gone on to study various social sciences at undergraduate level.

About you

You must be committed to being a team member who will want to ensure that all students, at all academic levels, receive an outstanding experience in their lessons. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to exceptionally high standards of classroom practice alongside a genuine regard for inspiring progress and quality of education for all our young people. You will have a degree in any of the following preferred subjects - Sociology, Criminology and Health and Social Care.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious teacher to join our Academy. This role would be suitable for an experienced KS5 teacher.

  • demonstrate an understanding of the importance of Social Sciences across the curriculum.
