Our client’s flexible legal services platform provides businesses with fast access to a pool of high-quality consultants to meet their flexible resourcing needs. The Senior Client Manager will lead the UK client engagement and sales activities to strengthen market positioning, increase profitability, and ensure exceptional service delivery. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive global client strategies and maintain long-term relationships, contributing to sustainable growth.
The Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and implement a comprehensive client engagement strategy, aligning with overall growth and market expansion goals.
Foster and deepen relationships with key clients, ensuring consistent and effective communication across all touchpoints.
Work alongside various business functions to cross-sell flexible resourcing solutions and enhance internal collaborations.
Lead and manage the UK sales team, driving the promotion and sale of flexible legal services to clients while maintaining smooth service delivery across multiple practices.
Work with the leadership team to set and achieve ambitious sales targets, ensuring the generation of sustainable revenue and growth.
Act as the primary escalation point for all client-related matters within the UK, resolving complex and strategic issues.
Oversee client-facing activities, including the development and delivery of thought leadership content, event programming, pitches and relationship management strategies.
Develop and implement pricing strategies for the UK market, aligning with industry trends to maximise profitability and support growth.
Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team, setting clear goals and fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
Support the UK sales team with high-priority sales opportunities and provide hands-on assistance during peak periods or staff absences.
The Candidate:
Extensive experience managing client relationships and driving sales within a professional services environment, preferably within the legal sector or related industries.
Demonstrated experience in a senior role within a flexible legal services platform, legal recruitment, or alternative legal services.
Proven track record in driving client engagement strategies, relationship management, and revenue growth.
Experience leading high-performing teams, fostering collaboration, and managing strategic initiatives to achieve business growth.
Strong commercial acumen, with a demonstrated ability to develop and execute pricing strategies and manage market dynamics.
Strong problem-solving skills, able to identify and address challenges while maintaining focus on team and client objectives.
