Department Mission Statement:

Our Marketing department plays a massive part in Commusoft's growth, powering our success with creativity and innovation. We have three key areas: Product Marketing, Demand Generation, and Content Marketing. Our mission is to tell our brand's story and connect with our audience in ways that generate a qualified pipeline and grow our customer base. You’ll join a dynamic team of five based in Chicago and London, working collaboratively across time zones to create impactful campaigns.

Role Overview:

As the Marketing Operations Specialist , you optimize marketing workflows, enhance user experiences, and drive quality leads to support business growth. You work closely with the demand generation team and collaborate across departments to refine processes, improve campaign performance, and deliver measurable results.


Your expertise in marketing tools, website optimization, and analytics helps ensure that Commusoft’s marketing initiatives are efficient, data-driven, and impactful.

What you'll do:

Marketing Automation & Operations:

  • Build, manage, and optimise multi-channel automation campaigns (email, SMS) within HubSpot.
  • Maintain a clean, segmented, and scalable HubSpot database.
  • Partner with PPC agencies to ensure proper campaign setup, tracking, and asset delivery.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to refine lead management processes, including lead scoring and SLAs.

Data Analytics & Tracking:

  • Utilise Google Analytics (GA4), Google Tag Manager (GTM), and Looker Studio to build and maintain dashboards that provide actionable insights into campaign performance.

  • Data cleaning and consolidation within Hubspot

  • Develop and deliver regular reports on key KPIs, including MQLs, CAC, and conversion rates.

  • Monitor and enhance multi-touch attribution models to accurately track marketing's contribution to pipeline and revenue.

Website Management & UX Optimisation:

  • Coordinate and update our WordPress website with our developer based on stakeholder needs, brand guidelines, and UX best practices.

  • Continuously review and maintain website functionality, communicating with developer to troubleshoot issues as they arise.

  • Analyse visitor behaviour using Google Analytics (GA4) and Clarity to identify pain points and optimisation opportunities.

  • Familiar with HTML and CSS for front-end tweaks, A/B testing, and advanced event tracking via Google Tag Manager.

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement:

  • Share insights and best practices with teammates to foster a performance-driven marketing culture.

  • Continuously explore new ways to enhance marketing effectiveness.

Your skills, experience and values:

  • 3-5 years B2B Marketing experience
  • Tech-Savvy: You are skilled in the technical side of marketing, with tools like Wordpress, HubSpot, Google Analytics, Figma, Looker Studio, Clarity and Google Tag Manager.
  • Data-driven: You thrive on analyzing data, within the marketing technology stack, executing and optimizing campaigns, and ensuring data integrity.
  • Detail-oriented: You manage multiple projects while maintaining a high standard of quality and organization.
  • Collaborative: You work seamlessly with internal teams and external partners to ensure alignment on strategies and execution.
  • Proactive Problem Solver: You are resourceful and take the initiative to identify and implement improvements.
  • Results-focused: You prioritize tasks effectively, ensuring timely campaigns and updates align with goals.
  • Tools you use:
    • HubSpot: For marketing automation, workflows, and lead scoring.
    • Google Analytics (GA4): For performance tracking and reporting
    • Google Tag Manager: For advanced tracking and attribution setup.
    • WordPress: For website management and updates.
    • Figma: For design and UX collaboration.
    • Clarity: For user behavior analysis and UX improvements.
    • Looker Studio: For customized dashboard set up and reports.

Salary & Benefits

The base salary is £34-36,000 per year.

The other elements of your compensation include: 23 days off (increase with tenure) plus the UK bank holidays, £50 monthly gym contribution, pension contribution, a MacBook Air, remote working over Christmas and during the summer period, up to 5 days holiday-buy-in-scheme, drinks and snacks provided at our new modern workspace next to Elephant & Castle underground station. 

And you’d probably like to know that we have a hybrid working model (10 days a month in the office minimum) but it is an open door so feel free to come in more if you'd like! Please note that for the first month you will be required to come in full-time 8.30am-5.30pm.
