What you'll be doing

  • Researching and helping curate thematic historical collections
  • Creating, editing and uploading content using our content management systems
  • Reviewing and improving metadata to ensure accuracy and discoverability
  • Carrying out quality assurance checks to maintain academic and editorial standards
  • Writing and editing blog posts, landing pages and supporting content
  • Monitoring and reporting on content performance trends
  • Maintaining content workflows and operational documentation
  • Collaborating with product, licensing and marketing colleagues on content projects
  • Supporting editorial partnerships, internships and wider academic engagement activities

Why join us?

At DC Thomson, we're proud to create products and services that inform, educate and inspire millions of people. Through The Social History Archive, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to an important academic resource that supports learning and research internationally.

  • The ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across different disciplines

  • Experience using digital humanities resources for teaching or research
  • Experience working with content management systems (CMS)
