Our client is a partner-owned private client investment management firm, offering a range of discretionary and advisory services for UK and international clients

THE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Management and reporting of key MI data to inform business strategy.
  • Management of IPS back‐office operations including line management of the Senior Trade Analyst, Operations Supervisor, Operations Assistant and Office Manager in their duties
  • Management of IT infrastructure including outsourced relationships for both wealth and investments including strategy, selection & implementation, service & costs and disaster recovery & business continuity.
  • Responsible for the training and development of the Operations Team in addition to hosting in‐house training sessions to upskill the wider team.
  • Supporting the Managing Partner in devising Operations Team strategy according to business need and regulations; lead and support various Operational, Trading, IT, and Client Services.
  • Supervision of the firm’s quarterly client valuation reporting.
  • Completing all duties in compliance with all relevant regulations; management and development of effective control processes for all internal data to minimise regulatory, operational and firm risk.
  • Exception management & investigative work.
  • Key data owner
  • Manage all tax reporting as well as ad‐hoc queries and ‘non‐standard’ clients.
  • Lead administrator on key systems (e.g. VC, A.R.T., IMiX, Smartsheet, custodian websites, UnaVista) and assist and train other system administrators as needed; to be responsible for managing and coordinating all users, upgrades and fixes.
  • Service review owner and organiser for all custodians.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Proven experience in a UK wealth management business, straddling both investment management and financial planning.
  • Ability to work independently with a demonstrable capacity to make high quality operational decisions
  • Effective in a collegiate environment—proficient with articulating ideas and respectfully challenging others
  • Advanced level in all Microsoft Office products
  • Must be highly confidential, exercise absolute discretion and display strong judgement
  • Experience handling sensitive or confidential financial material
