EMEA FM Director

What will you do?
As the EMEA FM Director you will be responsible for the operational execution of facility management services for the client locations in EMEA. You will report directly to the Regional Account Director and work closely with various departments within CBRE GWS and the client organization. Your main responsibilities include:
- Providing remote supervision to 7 employees. Monitor the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching. Oversee the recruiting and hiring of new employees.
- Ensuring consistent execution of facility management services across all locations in EMEA
- Commercially astute to oversee all financial activities associated with running a Sub–region
- Be responsible for the P&L performance and all associated cost controls for the Sub–Region.
- Establishing and maintaining a true partnership with the clients Regional Leads.
- Be responsible for the generation of cross selling business of other lines of CBRE business
- Able to challenge and improve all aspects of cost and performance of the business
- Demonstrating strategic planning ability
- Ongoing development of the relationship with client and their teams to ensure full understanding of the clients' needs, through effective relationship management.
- Utilising strong communication skills, establish a proactive communication, reporting and working style in line with client requirements.
- Managing daily operational activities at the locations, including supplier management, coordination of technical services, and facility services
- Managing the relationship with the client and acting as the key point of contact for all facility management related matters
- Identifying opportunities for cost savings, continuous improvements and innovations
- Reporting on performance indicators (KPIs and CPIs) to measure and improve the performance of facility management services
- Leading small projects within the client account and supporting the Regional Account Director with other projects and tasks.
- A bachelor's or master's degree in facility management, real estate or a related field
- Experience in facility management, preferably in a multinational and operational environment
- Excellent influencing techniques at a senior level and is a strong negotiator and demonstrate excellent networking skills
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders within the organization and the client
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to work in a matrix organization
- A proactive attitude and the ability to work independently and make decisions
- Fluent English proficiency, both orally and in writing. Proficiency in another European language is a plus.
