Demi Chef de Partie

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Prepare and present dishes in accordance with standard recipes, ensuring proper garnishing and presentation before service.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of menu items, seasonal produce, and emerging culinary products.
  • Collaborate with kitchen team members and develop positive working relationships with senior chefs and leaders.
  • Supervise and support Commis Chefs and Apprentice Chefs as needed.
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene, sanitation, and safe equipment handling at all times.
  • Actively contribute to minimizing food waste and supporting sustainability goals.
  • Show initiative in problem-solving and continuously share knowledge across departments.

About You

Extensive experience in culinary operations with a proven ability to manage and support a designated kitchen section efficiently. Well-versed in contemporary food preparation techniques and trends, with a strong dedication to upholding food safety and hygiene standards.
