THE ROLE

We’re looking for a Director of Demand Generation to lead the strategy and execution of marketing programs that grow awareness, drive qualified pipeline, and accelerate revenue. This is a high-impact role at the centre of our Go-to-Market team, combining strategy, performance marketing, and team leadership to connect global brands with credible climate solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Own and scale demand generation

  • Execute full-funnel demand generation campaigns to build awareness, engagement, and qualified pipeline.
  • Lead outbound campaigns that result in outbound and inbound demand, converting target accounts into marketing-qualified leads (MQLs).
  • Use data, automation, and buyer intent insights to target high-potential accounts and shorten the sales cycle.
  • Partner with Sales, Product Marketing, and Digital to align campaigns with commercial goals and impact objectives.
  • Oversee external suppliers that support demand generation efforts.
  • Manage and optimise the marketing tech stack (Salesforce, Account Engagement, Outreach.io, etc.) to ensure lead flow accuracy and performance visibility.
  • Track and report performance metrics including pipeline contribution, conversion rates, and ROI.
  • Manage the demand generation budget, allocating resources to the highest-performing channels.

Lead and develop the team

  • Lead, mentor, and manage the demand generation team, including team performance, KPIs, budget and resources
  • Foster a culture of experimentation, learning, and accountability.

Collaborate and innovate

  • Work cross-functionally to integrate content marketing, ABM, thought leadership, and paid channels.
  • Partner with sales leadership to align pipeline targets and improve lead handoff processes.
  • Continuously refine programs based on performance data and market feedback.


WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA is a plus.

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in demand generation, digital or growth marketing, or inside sales, including time spent in a leadership capacity.
  • Proven success in designing and executing demand generation programs that drive sales pipeline and revenue growth.
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing channels, including SEM, social media, content marketing, email marketing, and SEO.
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketo, HubSpot, Pardot) and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Analytical and data-driven approach to marketing, with a deep understanding of performance metrics and campaign optimisation.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.

  • Leading with accountability by fostering an ownership mindset, setting ambitious goals and KPIs and utilising data-driven decision-making
  • Commerciality with excellent strategic planning skills, utilising industry knowledge and effective stakeholder management to drive outcomes
  • Focus on innovation and continuous improvement to foster a growth mindset, drive process optimisation and add value to our business and clients

Other Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong project management skills and ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.
  • In-depth knowledge of demand generation best practices and marketing funnel optimisation.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
  • Ability to balance long-term strategic planning with short-term execution.
  • Proficiency in marketing analytics tools, marketing automation software, and CRM systems.
