Senior SAP FICO Consultant - Advisory

Our client in the manufacturing industry, are currently looking for a SAP Finance consultant to lead a number of workshops for a company gearing up for a bluefield transformaton of S/4 HANA

Responsibility:

• Conducts 9 process-based workshops for Financial Enterprise Planning (from Sales to Tax Planning) with participants from Germany and the UK.
• Leads these workshops with client representatives in such a way that “all relevant” requirements are being captured and written up and handed over to the RfP team for implementation. Comes up with harmonisation suggestions during these workshops to facilitate a common planning process for GER and UK. Discusses impact of local / business line specific planning deviations for a common planning process and toolset.
• Structures FEP requirements so that the solution architect can evaluate tool coverage of these requirements namely by SAP SAC and Anaplan.
• Supports solution architect in tool evaluation.
• Supports engagement lead in preparation for steering committee meetings and quality gates for requirements.
• Works closely with business analyst to assure requirements to be understandable, precise, relevant and detailed enough for further usage.
• Gathers and analyses actual process material as well as planning dimensions and planning rules for planning objects in preparation for the workshops.
• Aligns planning requirements with actuals gathering requirements to enforce alignment for budget-versus-actuals deviation analysis.

Experience

• Strong understanding of financial and controlling processes in various environments.
• Strong understanding of application-based financial and controlling process implementation, preferably in SAP incl. SAC and Anaplan
• Strong understanding of financial planning and financial reporting processes.
• Strong leadership skills to conduct and lead virtual workshops resolving expected conflicts between countries and business lines
