Biomedical Scientist in Immunology

Banding: Band 6

Location: Charring Cross Hospitals

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: Ongoing

Working Pattern: Monday – Friday, Core hours only

Hourly Rate: £25 – £27

We are currently seeking a Band 6 Biomedical Scientist specialising in Immunology/Virology/Serology to join our client’s team in the Charring Cross Hospital. This is a full-time, ongoing position working core hours only, offering a competitive hourly rate and the opportunity to contribute to a busy and well-established laboratory service.

Key Responsibilities

You will perform immunological assays including flow cytometry, ELISA, and immunofluorescence. You will support diagnosis of immune disorders.

Qualifications and Experience

– HCPC registration

– Degree in Biomedical Science or equivalent

– Experience in Immunology within a clinical laboratory

– Experience with flow cytometry and immunoassays

– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

– Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

– NHS experience (preferred)
