We'll provide structured training, hands-on experience, and support towards achieving your NVQ Level 3 qualification, helping you develop the skills, knowledge and confidence to become a qualified Escalator Engineer.

Future Opportunities
As an Escalator Engineer trainee, you could work alongside qualified engineers to:
Support escalator servicing, maintenance and repairs
Develop fault-finding and diagnostic skills
Complete inspections and minor repairs
Follow KONE’s safety and quality standards
Build positive relationships with customers and site teams
Complete training and assessments towards an NVQ Level 3 qualification
You’ll remain accountable for working safely, delivering quality work and taking an active role in your development.
Who We’d Like to Hear From
You may be an improver or part-qualified engineer with:
Practical mechanical, electrical or maintenance experience
Relevant tools, technical knowledge and hands-on ability
A safety-conscious and customer-focused approach
Good communication and problem-solving skills
The motivation to achieve an NVQ Level 3 qualification
Lift or escalator experience would be helpful, but relevant transferable experience will also be considered.
