Clerk of Works - Residential projects.

As their Clerk of Works, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the construction and refurbishment of affordable housing properties, ensuring compliance and quality standards are met throughout each project phase. With a competitive salary range of GBP60,000 - GBP70,000 and the opportunity to work in a collaborative, growth-oriented environment, this 18 month contract offers the perfect platform to showcase your expertise and make a lasting impact.

Preferred Requirements:

• Extensive experience as a Clerk of Works, with a strong focus on residential projects, HMO experience would be preferred.
• Thorough understanding of the regulatory landscape governing residential properties and HMOs, ensuring all developments meet Home Standards, Local Authority guidance, and relevant building regulations
• Proven track record in supervising construction progress by third parties, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality and compliance
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure to meet deadlines
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders, including developers, contractors, and architects

Preferred Qualifications:

• A degree in Building Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field preferred but not essential. Previous experience will always be taken seriously.
• Professional accreditation is highly regarded.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Clerk of Works or similar role, with a focus on residential properties.
