Interim Commercial Estate Surveyor, London Local Authority, £400 - £450 p/day Inside IR35

Hays are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Interim Commercial Estate Surveyor to join a dynamic team at a Local Authority in London. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the management and development of the council's diverse property portfolio, ensuring the effective use and optimisation of their commercial estates. Your new role- Conducting property inspections and valuations.
- Managing lease renewals, rent reviews, and negotiations.
- Providing professional advice on property management and development.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
- Preparing detailed reports and maintaining accurate records.
- Liaising with tenants, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Proven experience as a Commercial Estate Surveyor, ideally within a local authority or public sector environment.
- Strong knowledge of property law, valuation, and estate management principles.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., MRICS) are highly desirable.
