Contract: Full-time, with the potential for a permanent position
Salary: MPS1 – UPS3 (dependent on experience)

We are working with a thriving four-form entry primary school in the London Borough of Harrow that is seeking a Year 1 Teacher to join their team from September 2025. As a Year 1 Teacher, you will:

* Deliver high-quality teaching and learning to meet the needs of all pupils
* Foster a positive, engaging, and supportive classroom environment
* Implement strategies to manage behaviour positively and effectively
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to plan and deliver a broad, balanced curriculum
* Engage with parents and carers to support pupil development and progress

Key requirements of a Year 2 Teacher

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – PGCE or Bachelor of Education
* Experience teaching in Key Stage 1, ideally in Year 1 (desirable but not essential)
* Strong classroom management and excellent communication skills
* A creative, enthusiastic approach to teaching and learning
* A team player who is committed to ongoing professional development
