Director, Super Prime Residential
A real estate consultancy in London, advising private clients on exceptional homes in the UK and overseas. The firm is extending its service to support clients from feasibility right through to handover, and it needs a senior leader to run that side of the business.
The role
You will head the cost and project management function, with responsibility for both the numbers and the delivery. Projects are typically in the £10m to £50m range.
- Own cost management from the first budget to the final account, including cost plans, tenders, valuations, change control and reporting
- Lead delivery through construction, including programme, contractor oversight, risk and handover
- Build and develop a strong team across the UK and abroad
- Hold the firm to the high standards of reporting its clients expect
- Work alongside fellow Directors and the data team, drawing on in-house cost benchmarks built from live project data
- Be the face of the firm in client meetings and across the industry
About you
- A chartered surveyor (MRICS or FRICS), which is essential
- Substantial experience on super-prime residential, such as listed townhouses, basements, bespoke interiors and country houses, ideally with international work
- Strong knowledge of JCT contracts and the main procurement routes, with direct experience as Contract Administrator
- Experience with UHNW clients, family offices and their advisers, and discretion that comes naturally
- A leader who stays close to the detail
- Warm, engaging and confident in a room, a natural networker who brings energy to a team and represents the firm well
