After securing a new framework opportunity in the infrastructure sectors, our client, who specialises in working on large projects, is looking for an experienced Construction Planner to join their established team.
You will provide support for all facets of these massive projects, from project conception to project completion. You will be an important member of the team whose work will center on working with compensation events, examining projects to ascertain what should have occurred, what has been recorded, and how to create a fragnet to represent this in the Primavera P6 program.
Additionally, you must guarantee the accuracy of the planned dates and risk events that subcontractors have submitted. It’s crucial to collaborate successfully with different levels of stakeholders, so having excellent verbal and written communication skills is a requirement.
Requirements
- Proven track record of creating schedules from scratch in Primavera P6.
- You’ll have experience in planning for at least one of the following industries: aviation, defense, building, civil engineering, power, rail, telecoms, and utilities.
- Solid data handling, reporting, and analysis skills for locating problems, potential answers, and workarounds.
- The ability to present data clearly and succinctly, according to the needs of the stakeholders.
