Job Details
pmactuarial (PMA) specialise in Actuarial search within UK Life insurance. We have been asked to fill a data science vacancy for a London based reinsurer. The details are as follows:
* Reinsurer
* 2 days per week in London
* £50,000 - £55,000
* 3 year fixed term contract.
This role will leverage data science and actuarial expertise to support pricing, risk management and decision making.
The ideal candidate will have recently finished or be finishing a PhD within a medical, statistical or computer science subject.
Whilst previous experience of applying data science within life insurance is not essential, it would be advantageous.
A strong ability with a scripting language is required. Our client works on R which would be desirable but not essential.
