The Opportunity
A highly regarded primary school in Southwark is looking for a dedicated and passionate Year 3 Teacher to join their team as soon as possible. Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the National Curriculum for Year 3.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing targeted support and constructive feedback.
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere that promotes student well-being and achievement.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues, support staff, and parents to enhance pupil learning.
- Uphold high standards of behaviour and academic performance in the classroom.
- Actively participate in school life, including meetings, training, and extracurricular activities.
Person Specification
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A degree in Education or a related field.
- Previous experience teaching in KS2, preferably within Year 3.
- Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and effective assessment strategies.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- A commitment to creating an engaging, inclusive learning environment.
- Enthusiasm for professional development and working collaboratively with others.
