Creative Director / Design Director (hybrid / hands on)

We are strictly looking for the following:

A hands-on the tools CD / DD / Designer hybrid with team lead exposure:

1. backgrounds and folios that span:
2. ad-land (Uncommon / Droga / WK / Wonderhood etc) and
3. branding (Wolff Olins, Future, Moving Brands etc) and
4. tech (giants along non-corporate lines such as Google / Meta / apple / Spotify etc.)
5. for a visual reference on the aesthetic style:

NB: whilst we are not looking for a motionographer, advertising and branding that transcends motion is required. Static / pdf folios will be considered if exceptional, but the ideal would be a website or Figma or other reel showing how design translates across motion.

Delighted to be partnering with a multi award-winning global creative agency, we are looking for a Heavyweight unicorn: a Creative Director / Designer, to stay ahead of the innovation curve.

You are to spearhead a pioneering tech brand. The account has been split across the UK and the US. The UK largely focusing on craft, design, output and execution, whilst an ECD in the US has handled concepts and ideation. They are bringing this under one umbrella with one Creative Lead.

Your background will be in leading ATL advertising, key branding agencies and inhouse tech... Your core roots will be concepting ideas, design, brand and craft. You will have worked on huge and small-scale transformative brands, with maximum impact/engagement. Creative campaign comms, OOH, AI, brand world comms, design, systems, craft, attention to detail – the devil is in the detail. Your portfolio will not be traditional in any sense... your projects have the wow factor.

You will inherit an existing team and must have a proven track-record growing, nurturing and leading designers and creatives. You will have the energy to build, to help shape, elevate, evolve, and run a bespoke studio with a defined growth timeline.

Close collaboration with the client will be essential, the key client contact is lovely, engaged and totally supportive.
