We provide the secure, reliable, and scalable foundation that enables QRT to operate at the forefront of global quantitative trading.

This graduate role is part of our Production Support function, delivering high-touch user support to QRT teams trading across all major EMEA and US markets. • Manage Day-to-Day Infrastructure – Assist in maintaining trading and core office infrastructure, ensuring stable, secure, and efficient operation.
  • Enhance Tools and Processes – Identify areas for improvement, implement optimisations, and contribute to automation initiatives that make support faster and more effective.
  • Gain Market and System Knowledge – Develop an understanding of QRT’s trading platforms, infrastructure components, and how technology supports our global trading activities.
  • Collaborate Across Teams – Work closely with traders, technologists, and infrastructure engineers to deliver high-quality production support.

Your current skillset

  • Technical Support Skills – Ability to support trading infrastructure, including manual trading applications, algorithmic trading platforms, exchange/FIX connectivity systems, and risk systems.
  • Operating Systems – Comfortable working with both Windows and Linux environments.
  • Operational Readiness – Ensure all trading components are operational before the start of each trading day.
  • Collaboration – Coordinate with front-to-back teams to investigate and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
  • Release Management – Support the deployment process while ensuring the stability of the production environment.
  • Data Management – Maintain and support static databases and associated processes.
  • Tool Development – Build and improve monitoring tools to enhance visibility of the trading environment.
  • Availability – Willingness to provide evening/weekend support when required (typically via remote access).
  • Problem-Solving & Analysis – Strong analytical skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues, taking full ownership through to resolution.
  • Communication – Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical issues clearly.
  • Interests & Knowledge – An interest in Windows desktop/server administration and Linux OS.

Interviewing

  • Apply Online - Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, so we encourage you to apply early.
  • Technical Assessment - If your application is shortlisted, you’ll be invited to complete a coding challenge to assess your technical skills.
  • Shortlisting - Our engineering teams will review your background and coding challenge performance to select candidates for the next stage.
  • Interviews - Shortlisted candidates will receive a request to attend a range of technical and soft skill interviews via Teams or onsite.
  • Offer - Successful candidates will receive an offer to join QRT.
