Interim Finance Manager - 3 Month Contract (Conversion Potential)

An international fashion services group operating across design, sourcing and manufacturing, supporting premium and luxury fashion brands across the full product lifecycle. The business operates within a wider global group and has an established European footprint, working across multiple territories with complex intercompany relationships. The culture is hands-on, collaborative and commercially focused, with close interaction between finance and operational teams.

Your new role
As Interim Finance Manager, you will take responsibility for the financial management and control of several European entities, including the UK, Germany, Spain and Turkey. Reporting into the Head of Finance & Operations, you will provide hands-on oversight of financial performance, controls and reporting during a period of systems and process development.Key responsibilities will include:

• Full ownership of multi-country P&L reporting
• Oversight of general ledger integrity, month-end close and balance sheet control
• Management of intercompany trading, recharges and reconciliations
• Maintenance and improvement of internal controls and cost discipline
• Close collaboration with overseas finance teams and a UK-based assistant accountant
• Regular interaction with senior leadership and board-level stakeholders
• Support of an ERP implementation and wider finance systems improvements

This is a highly visible role requiring someone comfortable operating both strategically and in the detail.
What you'll need to succeed

• Proven interim experience in Finance Manager / Controller level roles
• Strong working knowledge of financial controls, cost management and general ledger processes
• Demonstrable experience managing multi-entity, multinational finances
• Confidence liaising with C-suite and board-level stakeholders
• Experience within a service-based, consumer, retail, fashion or similar sector is preferable
• Strong intercompany accounting and cross-border experience
• Hands-on, delivery-focused mindset with the ability to stabilise and improve finance functions promptly
