Position: Permanent After-School Nanny
Client Profile: Professional family seeking reliable, active care for their 3-year-old son. Hours: Core Hours:
Mon – Thurs: 3:00 PM collection until 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM finish.
Fri: 2:00 PM collection until 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM finish.
Optional Hours: Flexibility available for occasional evenings (weekly/fortnightly) and rare overnights, offering excellent opportunity for extra earnings. Annualised average weekly hours in the region of 26-30 hours per week. The Role Overview
Our professional clients based in Mortlake, are seeking a dedicated Nanny to manage the afternoons for their highly energetic, affectionate 3-year-old son.
The primary focus is collection from his Wimbledon nursery, followed by engaging, active care until the parents return. Daily Responsibilities Include: Collection & Outings:
Collecting the child from his nursery and continuing the routine of visiting local spots (Wimbledon Common, playgrounds, or soft-play) before returning home. Enrichment & Play:
Facilitating in-home activities focused on music, reading, building, and imaginative play. Health & Routine:
Overseeing a simple, healthy snack time and managing bath time every other day. OT Integration:
Actively implementing simple Occupational Therapy-informed games (e.g., obstacle courses, balance play, core strength exercises) as provided by his therapist. Screen-Free Environment:
Strictly adhering to a no-screens policy Club Support:
Potentially transporting him to occasional after-school club sessions as required. Candidate Profile & Requirements
The ideal Nanny will be proactive, warm, and capable of managing an energetic toddler. Essential Documentation:
Must hold a current, Enhanced DBS Certificate on the update service, A Paediatric First Aid certificate, and the Right to Work in the UK. Activity Level:
Must be comfortable with an active, outdoorsy approach to afternoons. Language (Advantage):
While the home language is Greek, native-level English interaction is a highly desirable 'nice-to-have' for his development. Lifestyle: Must be a non-smoker. Future Scope:
While not essential for immediate start, a candidate who drives (or is willing to drive the family car) may be useful for potential school drop-offs next September. Pay Rate: We are prepared to offer a market-rate gross salary based on experience for this long-term role. Interview Process:
