A fantastic temporary opportunity is available for a confident and enthusiastic Reception Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Kingston upon Thames. This role is ideal for a teacher who enjoys supporting children at the beginning of their education journey and can provide a positive, engaging classroom experience.

Ethos Education is looking for a Reception Teacher who can quickly build relationships with pupils, deliver high-quality Early Years learning and create a classroom environment where children feel secure, curious and ready to learn.

What you will be doing:

• Delivering engaging Reception lessons in line with the EYFS framework.

• Supporting early literacy, phonics, communication and numeracy development.

• Creating effective continuous provision opportunities.

• Observing and assessing pupil progress.

• Encouraging children's confidence, independence and social development.

The ideal candidate will:

• Hold QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification recognised in England.

• Have experience teaching Reception or within an Early Years setting.

• Understand child development and play-based learning.

• Be confident adapting quickly to a new classroom environment.

• Have a positive approach to behaviour management and safeguarding.
