SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a passionate and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Islington . This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of children with additional needs in a supportive and inclusive school environment.

About the Role:

• Work 1:1 and in small groups with children with EHCPs and additional learning needs (e.g., autism, ADHD, speech & language needs)

• Support classroom learning, adapting tasks and resources to suit individual needs

• Help create a nurturing, inclusive environment where every child feels valued

• Work closely with teachers, SENCO, and external professionals to deliver tailored support

• Support emotional regulation, communication skills, and positive behaviour strategies

What We're Looking For:

• Experience supporting SEN pupils in a school or childcare setting

• Knowledge of EHCPs, SEN strategies, and inclusive classroom practice

• A caring, patient, and proactive individual with excellent communication skills

• Ability to commit to full-time hours and start immediately
