Caretaker

Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Caretaker to oversee the maintenance and security of our properties within the real estate/property management industry. The Caretaker will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and overall functionality of the properties under their care. This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual who can effectively address maintenance issues and ensure the satisfaction of tenants and property owners.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections of the properties to identify maintenance needs and security concerns.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as landscaping, cleaning, and minor repairs.
- Coordinate with external contractors for larger maintenance and repair projects.
- Respond promptly to tenant requests and address any issues that may arise.
- Monitor and maintain security systems and protocols to ensure the safety of the properties.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and expenses.
Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience in property maintenance or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of maintenance and repair techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Basic understanding of security systems and protocols.
- Physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor.
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications or training is a plus.
