**Swedish Speaking nanny** A warm, welcoming international family in Fitzrovia are looking for an energetic, hardworking fluent Swedish-speaking nanny for their baby girl, born at the end of September 2026. Their two boys, aged 7 and 5, are at school full-time and have their own nanny, so the baby will be the main focus of the role. A maternity nurse will be with the family until mid-January, giving the nanny support while they settle in.

The family travel very often, so they’re looking for someone who is genuinely flexible and happy to work 6 days a week while away, with the extra day paid on top. They’d love someone looking for a long-term role who will grow with the family.

Duties
The nanny will take charge of the baby’s day-to-day care, building healthy feeding, sleep and daily routines as she grows, and supporting her development through sensory play and age-appropriate activities. Speaking Swedish with her throughout the day is a key part of the role. They’ll travel with the family, keeping her routines consistent while away, and help with the boys now and then. The role includes all standard nursery duties, such as bottles, the baby’s laundry, preparing her meals once she starts solids, and keeping her belongings and nursery areas organised. Babysitting will also be needed from time to time, with notice.

Job Details
* Days & hours: Monday – Friday | 06:30 – 18:30 (one-hour lunch break) | 55 hours. Ad-hoc Saturday mornings
* Start date: December 2026
* Location: Fitzrovia, W1
* Ages of children: G2 months (at start). Older brothers B7 and B5 have their own nanny
* Salary: £57,200 – £62,920 gross per year / £20 – £22 gross per hour (live-out), or around £45,000 gross per year
* Accommodation: Own private room and bathroom

Skills & requirements
* Experience: Previous nannying experience in private households, ideally with babies
* Languages: Fluent Swedish speaker (essential)
* Driver: Not required
* Travel: Yes, frequent international travel, working 6 days a week while away
* Other must-haves:
* Very flexible, warm and patient
* Happy working alongside a maternity nurse and household staff
* Discreet and respectful of family privacy
* Available for babysitting with notice
* Excellent references
* Up-to-date DBS and Paediatric First Aid
