The Role We’re looking for a highly experienced Technical Manager to oversee the technical quality and compliance of our fire and security projects. You’ll review and approve designs, ensure installations meet the highest standards, and act as a trusted technical partner for clients and consultants. This role is central to the success of our projects and reputation. What You’ll Do * Oversee the technical delivery of fire and security installations and commissioning * Review and sign off BIM/CAD models, designs, and documentation * Carry out site inspections and quality checks against UK regulations and standards * Provide expert technical advice to clients, consultants, and project teams * Support bids and tenders with technical knowledge * Lead improvements in engineering processes and compliance What We Need * 10+ years’ experience in fire, security, or construction industries * Strong technical authority in fire and security systems * Proven experience with BIM, CAD, and project oversight * Deep knowledge of UK regulations (CDM 2015, HSW Act, BS5839, BS7671) * Excellent client-facing and communication skills * Full UK driving licence and ability to obtain SC clearance Nice to Have * Chartered Engineer status or working towards it * NEBOSH or IOSH certification * BIM Level 2+ or project management qualifications (PRINCE2, Agile) * Experience with manufacturing or product engineering processes What We Offer * £45,000–£55,000 salary + bonus * Employee Ownership Scheme after 12 months * 20 days holiday + bank holidays * Zones 1–2 travel supplement * Funded training, PPE/uniform, and professional development Apply Today Join SecureWais as our Technical Manager and play a central role in ensuring the technical quality, compliance, and success of high-profile fire and security projects across London and beyond.
