Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Locum Dietitian to join our team for an immediate start. This full-time position offers a 3-6 month contract and is available at Band 6/7 level. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing an adult caseload, with a particular emphasis on enteral feeding. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to optimise patient care and outcomes. Strong clinical skills and experience in enteral feeding are essential for this role.
What your responsibilities will be for this Dietetics role?
As a Locum Dietitian, you will be tasked with managing an adult caseload, including patients requiring enteral feeding. You will conduct thorough dietary assessments, develop and implement tailored nutrition plans, and provide ongoing support and education to patients and their families. Your responsibilities will also include working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care, monitoring and evaluating patient progress, and maintaining accurate and comprehensive records. You will need to demonstrate a high level of clinical expertise, particularly in enteral feeding, to deliver effective and compassionate care.
Requirements:
- HCPC registration as a Dietitian
- Right to work in the UK
- Proven experience in managing adult caseloads
- Demonstrated experience with enteral feeding
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Strong organisational and clinical assessment skills
