SEN Teaching Assistant Wood Green £105 to £120 per day ASAP Start Ad hoc and Long Term Opportunities Available Make a real difference where it matters most A welcoming and supportive school in Wood Green is looking for passionate SEN Teaching Assistants to join their team immediately. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys building positive relationships with young people and supporting pupils with additional needs to thrive both academically and emotionally. Whether you are looking for flexible ad hoc work or something more consistent long term, there are opportunities available to suit you. The role:
- Supporting pupils with SEN including Autism, ADHD, SEMH and behavioural needs
- Working 1:1 and within small group settings
- Helping to create a calm, engaging and inclusive learning environment
- Supporting the class teacher with daily classroom activities
- Building trust and positive routines with pupils
- Has experience working with children or young people with SEN
- Is calm, patient and resilient
- Can build strong relationships with pupils and staff
- Has a genuine passion for supporting young people
- Is reliable and adaptable
- SEN Teaching Assistant

- Psychology or Criminology graduates
- Sports coaching or mentoring backgrounds
