Role: SEN Early Years Teaching Assistant
Salary: £18,135 – £23,400 per annum

Academics are currently recruiting for a caring, patient and enthusiastic SEN Early Years Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Redbridge. Working within an Early Years setting, you will support young children with additional needs during a particularly important stage of their development.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with younger children and wants to help them develop their communication, social skills, confidence and independence in a safe and nurturing environment.
The Role
* Full-time SEN Early Years Teaching Assistant position in Redbridge.
* Providing individual support to children with a range of additional needs, including physical disabilities, ASD and developmental delays.
* Helping children access classroom activities, play-based learning and early developmental opportunities.
* Supporting communication, social interaction, sensory development and independence.
* Assisting with mobility and personal care where required.
* Working closely with teachers, the SENCO and other professionals to support each child's individual needs.
* Creating a positive, inclusive and engaging environment where every child feels safe and supported.
Ideal Candidate
* A genuine passion for supporting young children with special educational needs.
* Experience working with children with SEN, physical needs or disabilities is highly desirable.
* A patient, nurturing and attentive approach, with the ability to adapt to individual needs.
* Comfortable supporting with personal care and mobility where required.
* Experience in a primary school, nursery or care setting would be beneficial.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* A reliable and committed approach to a full-time, permanent position in Redbridge.
