Nanny
Hours: Monday–Friday, 12:00pm–8:00pm
Salary: £50,000–£60,000
Location: Marylebone, NW1
Start: ASAP A warm and welcoming family in Marylebone is seeking an experienced, energetic, and education-focused Afternoon Nanny/Teacher to care for their three children: a 6-year-old boy, 5-year-old girl, and 3-year-old girl. This is a sole-charge position supporting the children’s daily routines, after-school care, and learning. A key part of the role is helping the eldest children prepare for 7+ assessments, so strong educational knowledge and a proactive teaching style are essential. Responsibilities include:
Providing engaging, structured educational support and 7+ preparation
Planning fun, stimulating age-appropriate activities
School runs and managing after-school routines
Supervising play, homework, reading, and enrichment activities
Light nursery duties related to the children and cooking fresh, healthy meals
Travelling with the family during school holidays
Maintaining a calm, nurturing environment while encouraging independence Requirements:
A recognised childcare or teaching qualification (e.g. Norland, Qualified Primary Teacher, or similar)
Confident driver
Experience supporting early years and primary-aged children
Strong knowledge of early learning and school readiness
Fluent English with excellent communication skills
Energetic, active, organised, and able to take initiative
