English teacher- Amazing school in Haringey- September start
We are seeking an experienced English teacher to join an amazing school in Haringey starting in September. As an English teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the next generation by providing high-quality education to students. Responsibilities
- Delivering engaging English lessons to students in a primary/secondary school setting
- Planning and organizing lessons according to curriculum guidelines
- Assessing and evaluating student progress and providing constructive feedback
- Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Collaborating with other teachers and staff members to develop and implement effective teaching strategies
- Participating in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills
- Maintaining accurate records of student attendance, grades, and behaviour
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in English or related field
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification
- Proven experience as an English teacher in a primary/secondary school setting
- Excellent knowledge of English language, literature, and grammar
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to inspire and motivate students
- Familiarity with current teaching methods and curriculum standards
- Valid DBS check or willingness to obtain one
