Supporting KS4 & KS5 students with Autism and Behavioural Needs

Are you passionate about making a difference in young people's lives? This specialist setting in Islington is looking for a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to support students aged 14-19 with autism and associated behaviours.

What the role offers:

• Work with KS4 & KS5 learners in small class sizes

• Support students with Autism and behavioural needs

• Focus on vocational courses - helping prepare students for life beyond school

• Build strong, trusting relationships to promote positive behaviour and engagement

• Work closely with teaching staff, therapists, and pastoral teams

What we're looking for:

• Experience working with young people with SEN, autism, or behavioural challenges

• Resilient, patient, and empathetic approach

• Ability to de-escalate situations and support positive behaviour strategies

• A team player who can also work independently

• Background in youth work, mentoring, or care is highly valued
