We help everyday runners become outstanding by providing world-class training, coaching and community for everyone, whether you're improving your 5k time or training for your first marathon. To date we have built iOS, Android and Apple watch apps that help people achieve their goals by coaching them through the full journey and syncing to their favourite fitness devices.

We’re growing extremely fast! in November 2023 we closed a $6.5M funding round led by JamJar with participation from Eka Ventures, Venrex and Creator Ventures. In 2024 , we were selected by Apple as one of three global finalists for the 2024 iPhone App of the Year , reflecting the innovation and impact of what we’ve built & now in 2025 we have ****just been acquired by Strava ! 🤯 🎉

What you’ll be doing

We’re hiring a Performance Marketing Manager to support on paid social and display channels. You’ll own strategy, execution, and optimisation across platforms, working closely with our in-house creative team to unlock rapid, scalable growth. The ideal candidate will bring deep mobile app experience , ideally from a subscription-based business , with a strong track record of driving results through paid social.

With significant budgets, dedicated creative support, and a fast-moving team, you’ll be expected to move quickly, test aggressively, and stabilise performance against strict CAC targets. As we grow, you’ll also have the opportunity to expand into emerging paid channels such as Reddit and Spotify.

Your responsibilities:

• Ownership of performance platforms (e.g., Meta, TikTok, programmatic DSPs).
• Plan and execute campaigns across the funnel (prospecting, retargeting).
• Collaborate with our creative team to ideate, brief, and analyse ad creatives.
• Build and manage a performance testing roadmap (hooks, formats, targeting, landing pages).
• Monitor and optimise towards CAC/LTV goals on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.
• Troubleshoot signal issues and attribution gaps (Meta Pixel, Appsflyer, S2S, SKAN).
• Enhance measurement frameworks and support incrementality testing.
• Suggest opportunities for new automation strategies.
• Report on performance and share learnings across Growth and Product teams.

We’re looking for someone that loves…

• Seeing their optimisations pay off and watching their campaigns grow in efficiency & scale.
• Experimenting with ad copy, landing pages, bid strategies and creative assets.
• Using data to uncover insights, optimise campaigns, and refine strategies.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams: creative, product or engineering.

Requirements

What experience we’re looking for

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience managing paid social channels.
• Experience working for a mobile subscription app or performance-driven business.
• Experience managing seven-figure monthly budgets at target CACs.
• Strong understanding of incrementality measurement (conversion lift).
• Expert in the Meta ads ecosystem (AEO, AEM, Advantage+, CBO).
• Familiar with Meta iOS, Android, Web and Web2App campaigns.
• Proficiency with AppsFlyer (or another MMP).
• Analytical mindset with a strong focus on CAC, ROAS, LTV, and subscriber growth.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.

• You’re ideally London based (or able to work in person 2+ days per week).

2. Intro call with Laura, Performance Marketing Lead (25 minutes video call)
3. Take Home Task
4. Task Follow-up and Technical Interview with Laura and Sobaan, Performance Marketing Manager (50 minutes video call)
5. Office visit (in-person chat with Miranda, Head of Growth and the rest of the team)
