The Role: Strategic Growth & Partnerships

The Consumer team drives high-performing, delightful payment experiences through our Connect suite, including flagship products like Flow and Remember Me .

As we enter a high-growth phase for our consumer-facing ecosystem, we are looking for a Senior Business Development Lead. Your primary mission is to drive the mass adoption of our Remember Me , while simultaneously partnering with our top-tier global merchants to co-create the next generation of our financial product suite.

This is a highly collaborative role where you will act as the specialist lead for consumer products, working hand-in-hand with our Global Commercial and Sales teams to unlock new opportunities within our existing merchant base and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

  • Scale Consumer Adoption: Lead the commercial strategy to drive exponential growth of the Remember Me user base

  • Commercial & Sales Collaboration: Partner closely with our internal Sales and Commercial Account Management teams to identify high-potential merchants, acting as the subject matter expert to help them pitch and integrate Flow/Remember Me and our other future solutions.

  • Merchant Collaboration & Co-Creation: Act as a strategic consultant to our key merchant partners, gathering deep market insights to help shape the future roadmap of our emerging products.

  • Engineering & Product Synergy: Work closely with Product and Engineering teams to ensure that real-world merchant feedback and market requirements are translated into world-class product features.

  • Product Fluency: Use a deep understanding of API-led processing to articulate complex financial product value propositions to both technical and commercial audiences.

  • Strategic GTM Execution: Develop and execute go-to-market plans that incentivize merchants to adopt our consumer features, focusing on increased conversion and long-term user loyalty.

  • Cross-Functional Feedback Loop: Work closely with Product and Engineering teams to ensure that merchant feedback and market requirements are translated into world-class product features.

About You

  • Proven Experience: 7+ years of Business Development or Strategic Partnerships experience, specifically within the UK fintech, payments, or digital commerce space.

  • Internal Influencer: Proven ability to work across large Sales and Commercial organizations, enabling and motivating account teams to sell complex, new-to-market products.

  • Growth Track Record: Demonstrated success in scaling a B2B2C product from early adoption to mass-market volume.

  • Product Fluency: Deep understanding of API-led processing and the ability to articulate complex financial product value propositions to both technical and commercial audiences.

  • Strategic Negotiator: Exceptional ability to navigate sensitive commercial discussions and secure long-term commitments from enterprise-level merchants.

  • Discreet & Proactive: A self-starter who can operate effectively in a "stealth-focused" environment, managing high-stakes projects with professional discretion.
