Orbit Partners is a rapidly growing boutique advisory firm. We help the best industry advisors partner with the best private equity investors to successfully craft deals. We support our clients in making better-informed investment decisions and building value-creation angles through collaborating with industry leaders who have the relevant expertise. Orbit Partners’ international client base includes most tier-1 Private Equity firms, and we operate globally with offices in London, Paris and New York.

The role:
Associates are integral to the business and key members of the execution team. Joining a sector team (Healthcare/Consumer; Technology/Media/Telecommunications; Business Services/Industrials) you’ll quickly gain sector knowledge, exposure to industry leaders and senior PE investors, and substantial responsibility in a fast-growing, lean organisation.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Research: Conducting granular, qualitative research into various sectors and industries, to identify and map the key companies and executives in a given ecosystem.
- Communication: Sourcing, interviewing and securing experienced C-level executives and thought-leaders as advisors to our clients.
- Client Management: Present research findings to our PE clients and recommend the most relevant advisors for the given deal process.
What we look for:
- Recent graduates with a strong academic background, and an interest in or experience with Expert Networks, Executive Search, Business Development, or
- Consulting. While prior professional experience (up to 1 year) in these areas is helpful, we also value relevant internship experience or transferable skills.
- Adherence to our values – you demonstrate excellence, tenacity, innovation, collaboration and accountability in your work and education, and can share examples of this throughout the interview process.
- Experience thriving in a fast-paced and challenging environment. At Orbit, you will have the chance to make an impact from day one.
- Detail orientation, with strong written and oral communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders easily.
What we offer you:
- Starting salary of £40.000, with competitive bonuses and benefits (potential to earn up to 50% on top of base).
- Accelerated growth and promotion opportunities.
- Structured training and development plan.
- Access to a range of health and wellbeing benefits including funded gyms and online classes.
- Team collaboration activities and regular CSR initiatives.
- Hybrid working and a fully serviced office environment.
