A leading supermarket business is looking to appoint a Commercial Finance Manager to join its commercial finance team.

This is a high–profile role partnering closely with senior commercial and operational stakeholders, providing the financial insight and challenge needed to drive sales, profitability and informed decision–making across the business.

The Role

You will take ownership of commercial analysis and business partnering across a key area of the organisation, with responsibilities including:

• Partnering with senior commercial and operational stakeholders to improve financial performance
• Providing insight into sales, margin, costs and profitability
• Supporting commercial decisions around pricing, promotions and investment
• Leading budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting
• Identifying risks, opportunities and areas for profit improvement
• Developing robust financial models and scenario analysis
• Translating complex financial information into clear commercial recommendations
• Challenging performance and influencing stakeholders across the business
• Supporting strategic projects and wider commercial initiatives

The Candidate

We are looking for a commercially focused finance professional who can combine strong analytical capability with excellent stakeholder management skills.

You will ideally be:

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
• Experienced within supermarkets, grocery, retail, FMCG or another high–volume consumer business
• Strong in commercial finance, FP&A or business partnering
• Confident working with senior non–finance stakeholders
• Highly analytical with the ability to turn data into actionable commercial insight
• Comfortable operating in a fast–paced, constantly changing environment

Package

Salary: Up to GBP70,000

Bonus: Attractive annual bonus
