Residential Support Worker
Join us as a Residential Childcare Support Worker in Greater London, working across homes in Camden, Haringey & Islington. You'll earn £30,277.23 to £31,208.49 per annum, rising to £31,867.18 upon completion of a Level 3 Diploma. Enjoy permanent contracts with 12-hour shifts and a minimum monthly average of 168 hours.

The Work
- Build positive relationships with young people aged 11-18, supporting their emotional, social, and academic development.
- Create a safe, nurturing environment and maintain accurate records.
- Promote independence, confidence, and positive life choices.
- Work collaboratively with teams and external professionals, supporting daily living needs.
- Assist with household tasks, meal planning, and shopping, involving young people where possible.
What You Need
- Experience in the care sector or residential care.
- Ability to engage positively with young people, listen, and empathise.
- Self-motivation, reflectiveness, and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work some Bank Holidays and undertake a Level 3 Diploma (if not already qualified).
Desirable
- Existing Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare or equivalent.
