Duties and responsibilities

• Help with setting up the Big Hello event and support with clear-up once it finishes.
• Take on a variety of s during the event, such as welcoming and directing students, running quick surveys, keeping track of attendance, and handing out freebies.
• Be a friendly point of contact by answering questions, offering support, and making students feel at home.
• To be willing to be flexible and provide support with other Ambassador duties as and when required.

Skills and experience

• To provide a high level of customer service to new and returning City St Georges 2025 students during Welcome Week 2025.
• A good understanding of what is expected by working as a Student Ambassador.
• Strong knowledge of the University campus, its key locations, and essential student services.
• Strong verbal communication skills, with confidence in engaging with diverse groups.
• Friendly and outgoing, confident in approaching and engaging with students.
