Part-time Nanny-Housekeeper needed in Merton, Job ID J1F534R
This lovely family based in Merton, London, is looking for a Part-time Nanny-Housekeeper to maintain their house clean and tidy while taking care of their school-aged child. All general Nanny-Housekeeping duties are required in this role. Someone who knows how to cook is a must. A valid first-aid qualification is needed for this position.
Working hours: Tuesday and Thursday, 12:30 pm to 5:00 pm in term time. In school holidays, just housekeeping (hours TBC).
Duties include:
- School pick-ups.
- Bathing and maintaining proper hygiene for the child.
- Ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of the child.
- Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks tailored to the child.
- Keeping child's bedrooms and play areas clean, organised, and tidy.
- Engaging the child in interactive play, educational activities, and outdoor outings, such as visits to the park.
- Encouraging early literacy by reading books to the children.
- Providing homework assistance and supporting the child’s educational growth.
- Establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines to support the child's structure and development.
- Ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of a private residence.
- Performing routine floor care, including sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping.
- Dusting and polishing furniture, fixtures, and surfaces.
- Cleaning and sanitising bathroom facilities, including sinks, bathtubs, and showers.
- Cleaning and maintenance of the kitchen area.
- Washing, drying, and organising clothing and linens.
- Managing laundry tasks, including ironing and folding.
- Making beds and replacing linens as needed.
- Cleaning and organising dishware, including loading and unloading the dishwasher.
