Hours: Monday to Thursday 8am - 5pm, Friday 8am to 12pm

Syntech Recruitment are working with a global engineering firm recognised for innovation, excellence, and reliability. We're seeking a Mechanical Technician to support the final build of safety-critical aerospace components in a clean, well-organised environment.

Mechanical Technician duties:

Building mechanical sub-assemblies such as seat pans, guide rails, and survival kits to spec

Working from detailed engineering drawings and build instructions

Conducting self-inspection and stage certification of completed work

Using SAP to log parts, track jobs, and update work progress

Handling tools, gauges, and components with precision and care

Supporting lean initiatives and maintaining a clean, safe working area

Mechanical Technician Profile:

Previous mechanical assembly or technician experience in a manufacturing setting

Competent using basic hand tools and torque equipment

Able to read and interpret technical drawings

Comfortable using computers – SAP or Excel knowledge is a plus

Strong attention to detail and a methodical work ethic

Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in core subjects
