Management Accountant

Your new company You will work for a fast-growing luxury international fashion brand with stunning offices located in East London. Your new role Working within a finance team of six people and reporting to the Head of Finance, your responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):

• Preparation and review of monthly management accounts
• Balance sheet reconciliation
• Month-end journal postings including accruals, prepayments, fixed assets and inventory
• Ongoing improvement of processes and reporting
• Intercompany accounting (four business entities) including reconciliation and positing balances. Additionally, being the main POC for intercompany transactions and invoice tracking, ensuring correct recognition is applied
• Assisting the Financial Accountant with the preparation of statutory accounts (likewise, the Financial Accountant will assist with some of the Management Accounting responsibilities, and you will each provide cover during periods of annual leave)
• Revenue reconciliation

What you'll need to succeed

• The successful candidate will evidence recent, relevant experience working in a Management Accountant role.
• Relevant industry experience within the Retail/FMCG sector is essential.
• Multi-currency experience highly advantageous
• Previous experience and desire to be involved in ongoing process streamlining in order to improve efficiencies, with a solution-focused approach
• Actively working towards achieving a professional accounting qualification (i.e. ACCA, CIMA).
